The academy has highly qualified and competent staff. All the teaching staff is trained, experienced and well versed in their subject.
The Nursery- which is especially developed with the aim to teach the children psychologically only with the play-games in a relaxed mood under the influence of mellow music and audio-visual aids. We at the nursery do not believe in burdening the kids with loads of home work. Assignments, if given, are exercises designed to fire the child’s imagination. The furniture for Nursery is quite comfortable and attractive.
Mode of teaching in English to clarity the concepts. English is being used as a medium of general conversation and an atmosphere is provided for fluent spoken English.
Personal attention to the children is ensured so that the problems could be detected and remedied immediately. For personality development of the children, to expand their area of thought and to develop a vision-provision of smart classes, career cell and exposure visits are regular feature of the academy. A well maintained computer lab is available for all the students from class I to XII. A nominal fee is charged for computer education. Principal is available on all working days between 8:30 AM to 3:30 PM to discuss with the parents, the problems and issues related to their child. The parents should feel free to discuss the progress with the principal so that there is no delay regarding any problem related to the child.
Frequent parents teachers contact is ensured during meeting as well as visits. PTA is actively involved in the process. Special tutorial classes are arranged in the evening for the weak child to support the preparation of the student and rectify their problems.
A library has been established which is rich in all kind of books.
Health care of children is given priority and for this purpose special health camps are organised time to time. A qualified Medical Officer is in attendance fortnightly to check-up the general ailments. Anything serious if noticed in the health profile of the student will be informed to their parents.
The academy is affiliated with Uttarakhand Open University to provide professional courses like CCA, DCA, BCA, MCA, M.Sc IT and PGDCA along with regular studies in the academy.
Similarly the academy is accredited to nainital institute of open schooling (NIOS) & study center for secondary & senior secondary is run in the academy.
The affiliation of IGNOU is under the process and some vocationnal cources are expected to be run in future by IGNOU. All above three units i.e. NIOS,UOU & IGNOU are run by Manas Distance Education Center (MDEC) established as a sister concern of the academy. Mr.Devendra Kumar Pandey is looking after MDEC as coordinator.
The academy has regular school bus service from adjoining locations of the town.
The academy is the only one among Public schools having NSS and provides A & B certificates to the student volunteers.
